FAQ

What is the best pet in Ride A Pet?
Kitsune is the best pet overall — it is the fastest mount at roughly 1 billion speed and hatches from the rarest confirmed egg in the game. Dragon is the other S-tier pick; its hatch source is community-reported, so treat the details as unverified.
How many pets are in Ride A Pet?
There are 30 pets, from commons like Chicken, Pig, and Snail up to the Ethereal pair Kitsune and Phoenix, with Dragon as an endgame hatch.
Which pet is fastest in Ride A Pet?
Kitsune at approximately 1,000,000,000 speed. Phoenix (1,000,000) and T-Rex (266,000) are the next fastest confirmed mounts.
Which pets do rebirths need?
The seven rebirths require pets in this order: Horse, Fox, Unicorn, Phoenix, Kitsune, Kitsune again, and finally Dragon. Keep at least one of each — see our full rebirth guide for the money costs.
Is Dragon or Kitsune harder to hatch?
Community trackers put Dragon's hatch odds at or below Kitsune's despite Dragon ranking one tier lower in speed. Both are endgame hatches you should chase only after your income is established.

What is the best pet in Ride A Pet?

Kitsune and Dragon are the two S-tier pets. Kitsune is the confirmed fastest mount in the game at roughly 1 billion speed. Dragon is an endgame hatch — community data suggests it is actually the harder pull of the two, though its egg source is not yet verified (see the note under the stats table).

For how mutations multiply a pet’s stats, see the mutations guide.

What are the confirmed stats?

Stats exist for the six pets below. The other 24 have no published, source-backed numbers yet — they live in the tier table above, and their rows appear here as data is verified.

Community guides call the endgame egg a "Dragon Egg", but no verified source confirms the name or that it hatches Dragon exclusively. The name is community usage, not a verified fact.

Status key: confirmed = multiple sources agree; community = single-source, pending in-game verification.

How do pets connect to rebirths?

All seven rebirths are gated behind specific pets: Horse → Fox → Unicorn → Phoenix → Kitsune → Kitsune → Dragon. Never sell your last Horse or Fox even after they look obsolete — the rebirth requirements guide has the full costs alongside.

Which pets should you ride vs. sell?

  • Ride: your fastest pet (speed = more eggs per minute), ideally weather-mutated — multipliers in the mutations guide
  • Pen: high income/s earners, especially Phoenix-type pets
  • Never sell: one of each rebirth-required pet
